Reduce or close your debt position
How to repay
You have two flexible ways to repay your loans:
- Repay via linked wallet: Repay directly from your connected wallet
- Repay via deposit address: For BTC, send funds directly to your unique deposit address
Repayment via deposit addresses are not yet supported for USDT. Coming soon.
Repay via linked wallet
Repaying BTC borrow position from a linked wallet
- Select the Portfolio tab
- Expand the asset you want to repay
- Enter an amount to repay
- Click Repay then select Wallet
- Sign the repayment transaction
Repay via deposit address
Every Liquidium profile automatically includes a unique Bitcoin deposit address. This means you can repay Bitcoin loans without linking any wallet.
Repaying BTC borrow position via deposit address
- Select the Portfolio tab
- Expand the Bitcoin asset you want to repay
- Click Repay then Deposit address
- Copy your unique Bitcoin deposit address
- Send Bitcoin to that address from any wallet or exchange
Only send the collateral asset on its native chain. Sending other assets or using the wrong network will result in loss of funds.
If you overpay, excess funds will not be credited to your account.
Pending repayments
Viewing a pending USDT repayment
Each chain has its own requirement for the number of confirmations before funds are fully accounted. Once a repayment is initiated, it's moved into the pending section awaiting the required confirmations. After the confirmations are met, it finalizes for ~3mins.
Repayments only take effect once fully confirmed and finalized.
If you submit a repayment while your position is at risk, and your position becomes liquidatable before the repayment confirms, liquidation may occur before your repayment is processed.
- Bitcoin: Requires 4 confirmations, ~10 minutes per confirmation.
- Ethereum: Requires 64 confirmations, ~12s per confirmation.
Repayment terms
- There is no set repayment date - you can repay any amount at any time
- Interest accrues continuously and compounds
- Repaying reduces your debt and improves your portfolio health
